Army Wives is back with a new season!
For all of you Army Wives fans out there, there is good news. Season three has just premiered and we can once again enjoy all the drama of the four ladies and their husbands. The first episode was ok, but I am hoping for some more fireworks!
Denise was the only one with some real personal drama (not counting the teenage Holden daughter going AWOL). Well she was sleeping with the legless fellow she met in the hospital while her husband is fighting in the Middle East. Ok so they were seperated. only cause she has been fancying a shag with someone other than her husband for two seasons!
But the hospital found out and Denise was fired. She wanted to flee into the arms of her legless soldier when he dumped her. His first love (not Denise obviously) was his true love. Well that sucks! Somehow the rumour of Denise’s indiscretion reaches her husband so he isn’t on the ball tight now. And as we know in Army Wives, men need to be to survive. Drama at home means they get distracted.
Roxy got her diner/bar back. I used to lover her the first season, but now I think she should listen to Trevor a bit more. What’s she trying to do? Cut off his balls? Anyway she is happy again. Pamela didn’t do much else than stand on the sideline in this episode. Hope she has another juicy storyline coming up.
The main focus is on the Holden household since Eve-Lyn decided to go and get married. Luckily they could stop her but the pampered princess got her way: she isn’t moving to Belgium. So a lesson to all parents: if your teen daughter runs away to avoid something, give her her own way upon return.
The sad thing was, she never said goodbye to her dad, who is moving to Belgium alone. Yes ALONE, without Claudia Joy. Well that is just too sad and let’s hope this family has seen enough drama.
No new development on the Joan storyline, which I love by the way. Love her and Roland too so just hope no sad things are in store.
All in all, it was actually a pretty boring season premiere, but still worth the wait. Yes I guess I am hooked on this show if I found this episode even mildly interesting.
